Delicious Pumpkin-Pie Bread

This is my favorite spiced pumpkin bread recipe.  The key is using "pumpkin pie" puree (instead of simply pumpkin puree), and the cloves.  It comes out tasting very richly spiced and flavorful.  (Note: adding dry pumpkin pie spice doesn't give it quite the same rich taste as the canned pumpkin-pie puree, but it will still taste great if all you have is regular canned pumpkin.)

Pumpkin-Pie Bread
Mix the following ingredients together first:
3 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 cup oil
One 15 oz can "pumpkin pie" puree
1/2 cup water
In another bowl mix together:
3 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp cinnamon

Dump dry ingredients into the wet and blend well.
Pour into 2 greased bread loaf pans.
Bake 350 for 55 minutes.

Cream Cheese Frosting:
8 oz cream cheese
4 tbsp butter, softened
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 pound powdered sugar (add more to thicken)
