Pumpkins & Witches & Treats, Oh My! Topped off with Spiced Pumpkin Bread...Yum Yum!

Gardner Village in Fall is Spectacular, with Witches, Pumpkins, Animals to pet, Treats to get, and a wee bit of Shopping for the Girl-in-me.

Good times are even better when shared with friends:

Fall Foliage Fun:

Top off a fall outing with this Spiced Pumpkin Bread, and it's pure pumpkin heaven!
(Warning: This is SO GOOD, you just may polish off both loaves yourself, with a bowl of homemade cream-cheese frosting.)

Spiced Pumpkin Bread

3 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 cup oil
2 cups canned "pumpkin pie" puree
Mix these together first.
Then in a separate bowl:
3 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cloves (*this is the secret ingredient)
1/2 tsp nutmeg
2 tbsp cinnamon
Mix everything together.
Pour into 2 greased bread loaf pans.
Bake 325 for 1 hr 15 min.

Cream Cheese Frosting: (to die for)
8 oz cream cheese
4 tbsp butter, softened
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 pound powdered sugar (add more to thicken)

Now tell me you're in heaven!

Thanks to my friend Jane for this delicious recipe!
